1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading or using TipSplit Cal, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.
2. Offline App & Data Storage
TipSplit Cal is an offline-first bill-splitting and tip calculation app. All data — including bills, receipts, preferences, and settings — is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any data on external servers.
The app does not provide cloud backup or sync at this time. If the app is deleted or the device is reset, stored data may be lost.
3. Use of the App
You agree to use TipSplit Cal solely for lawful purposes. You may not:
- modify or attempt to reverse engineer the app
- copy or redistribute the app for commercial purposes
- use the app in a manner that may harm or impair its functionality
4. Intellectual Property
TipSplit Cal, including its design, name, branding, and features, is the intellectual property of the developer. You may not use any part of the app's content without permission.
5. No Warranty
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we strive to ensure accuracy in calculations, we do not guarantee that all results will be error-free. Use the app at your own discretion.
6. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from your use of TipSplit Cal, including but not limited to financial decisions, data loss, or device issues.
7. Third-Party Services
TipSplit Cal does not rely on online third-party services. If future optional cloud features are added, you will be fully informed and required to opt in.
8. Changes to Terms
Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
